State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom will take part in the EU-Russia climate conference on December 1-3, 2020.

The conference will provide a platform for open discussion and fruitful dialogue on climate challenges between the Russian and EU main stakeholders, and will help to identify areas of mutual interest and potential joint activities between the EU and Russia on climate-related subjects.

The agenda of the conference will cover decarbonization strategies adopted in Russia and the European Union, corporate decarbonization strategies and corporate climate reporting, issues of sustainable finance, perspectives for renewable energy and the hydrogen economy, smart cities, the development of the Arctic and many others.

During the three-day conference consisting of 15 sessions Rosatom will be represented by First Deputy Director General Kirill Komarov, Chief Sustainability Officer Polina Lion, RENERA CEO Emin Askerov, and Rusatom Overseas (Rosatom Group) VP for marketing and business development Anton Moskvin.

The conference will be held online in Russia and English (simultaneous translation) at Moscow School of Management Skolkovo with the financial support of the European Union’s Partnership Instrument and the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety (BMU) in the context of the International Climate Initiative (IKI).
